Google never ceases to amaze me. It is amazing how this website continues to redefine how we use the internet. Recently, I heard a joke that in the near future our country will be dominated by two factions, Google and Microsoft, scary thing is we are already pretty close to that time!
Google Mobile has introduced a new program SMS program that has made my life so much easier. My texting “habit” will change forever with this new beta program. The Google Mobile SMS (beta) program offers endless options. For example, say you are stuck in traffic and you need to know the whether or not your flight has been delayed. Of course you can use a smart phone, find a website and get this info. With Google, however, you can instantly receive this info! All you would need to do is send a text to Google (466453) flight aa 2111 and all most instantly the information would be at your fingertips.
Need to know the score of last night’s game? Send a text! Need to find the nearest sushi restaurant? Send a text! Need directions somewhere fast? Send a text! Need to define a word right away? Send a text! Not sure how to dress because of the weather? Send a text! Having an argument with a friend about Abraham Lincoln’s birthday? Send a text!
